Design & Engineering End Use Applications Organix is designed to be used in many outdoor structural and decorative applications including high contact surfaces. For example: pergolas, decking, hand rails, bearers and joists. The treatment process ensures complete penetration to comply with Australian standards for H3, and therefore may be used in all above ground applications. Water repellents and stains may be applied to Organix once construction is complete. Follow manufacturer’s instruction for the best possible finish. Fixings The Organix preservatives have been designed for long term performance in outdoor applications and require high quality, corrosion resistant fasteners and fittings. Recommended fasteners are hot dipped, galvanised stainless steel. Disposal The off cuts of Organix should be disposed of in landfills in accordance with local regulations and are not to be burnt in domestic fires. The preserved timber shavings are not to be used as mulch and should be disposed of in a local landfill.
